About Mixer Firmware Archive
Free, open firmware backups for the digital-mixer community.
What is this?
Mixer Firmware Archive is an unofficial, community-oriented archive of firmware files for digital audio mixers. We crawl manufacturer websites nightly, verify each file with a SHA-256 checksum, and make it permanently available — even if a vendor removes or relocates the original.
Why does it exist?
Firmware files frequently disappear when manufacturers update their websites or discontinue products. Live-sound engineers need reliable access to known-good versions for repair, downgrade, or off-network deployment. This site fills that gap.
Powered by Mixing Station Anywhere & BoxCast
This project is maintained with the support of Mixing Station Anywhere (MSA), part of the BoxCast platform. MSA can remotely access and control your digital mixer — including auto-detecting firmware and upgrading it when a newer version is available, without you having to hunt for the file yourself.
How does it work?
A nightly crawler ("firmware-bot") checks manufacturer download pages, discovers new firmware releases, downloads and stores each file, and generates this static website. Nothing is collected from users. The site is entirely static HTML — no server runtime, no tracking, no cookies.
Coverage
We currently track over 100 mixer models across the major digital-mixer brands. Coverage grows as the crawler adds support for more manufacturers. See the model index for the full list.
