About the Allen & Heath GLD

GLD launched in 2011 as a smaller, more affordable take on the iLive concept — a compact surface paired with a separate AudioRack over Cat5. It has since been superseded by SQ and Avantis, but a great many GLD-80 and GLD-112 systems are still in service, which is exactly why the final firmware releases are worth keeping reachable.

How Allen & Heath ships firmware

Allen & Heath firmware updates ship per family rather than per model, so an SQ-5, SQ-6 and SQ-7 all take the same release. Downgrading is sometimes necessary when a show file was built on an older version, which is why every archived version stays available here.

Verifying what you download

Every Allen & Heath GLD file in this archive lists the SHA-256 checksum recorded the moment we mirrored it, plus a link to the original Allen & Heath source URL. Before loading firmware onto a console, run shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS/Linux) or certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows) and compare it to the value in the table above.
