About the Midas HD96
The HD96-24 is Midas's 96 kHz flagship, with a very high channel count, redundant power and networking, and a surface built around multiple touchscreens. Firmware releases are staged packages, and the console is generally kept on a version that matches the rest of a touring rack.
How Midas ships firmware
M32 firmware tracks the X32 release train closely but is packaged separately; loading the wrong one is a real risk. HD96 updates are larger, staged packages. Both are archived here with checksums so you can confirm what you are about to load.
Verifying what you download
Every Midas HD96-24 file in this archive lists the SHA-256 checksum recorded the moment we
mirrored it, plus a link to the original Midas source URL. Before loading firmware
onto a console, run shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS/Linux) or
certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows) and compare it to the value in
the table above. If they differ, do not load the file.
