About the PreSonus StudioLive Series III

StudioLive Series III consoles are built around the assumption that a live mix should also be a multitrack recording — every channel captures to SD card or to Studio One over USB, with no extra hardware. The range covers the StudioLive 16, 24 and 32 desks, the S, SC and SX variants, the rack-mount 16R, 24R and 32R, and the newer SE models, all networked over AVB.

How PreSonus ships firmware

StudioLive firmware is normally pushed by Universal Control, which means the standalone files are easy to lose track of. Series III desks and their rack siblings must be kept on compatible versions when they are stage-boxed together, so having the exact prior release available is not a nicety.

Verifying what you download

Every PreSonus StudioLive 32SX file in this archive lists the SHA-256 checksum recorded the moment we mirrored it, plus a link to the original PreSonus source URL. Before loading firmware onto a console, run shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS/Linux) or certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows) and compare it to the value in the table above.
