About the Behringer X32
The X32 arrived in 2012 and is unquestionably the most widely deployed digital console in small-venue and house-of-worship audio. 32 channels, 40 inputs, motorised faders and full remote control at a price that had not existed before. The Midas M32 is its metal-chassis sibling; the two share an engine but take separate firmware files.
How Behringer ships firmware
X32 and X-Air firmware is distributed as a single file per family that you load from a USB stick or push over the network. Version matters: remote-control apps and the Mixing Station protocol behave differently across major releases, so keeping every version reachable matters more here than on most platforms.
Verifying what you download
Every Behringer X32/M32 file in this archive lists the SHA-256 checksum recorded the moment we
mirrored it, plus a link to the original Behringer source URL. Before loading firmware
onto a console, run shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS/Linux) or
certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows) and compare it to the value in
the table above. If they differ, do not load the file.
