The Ui series (2015) has no control surface at all: Ui12, Ui16 and Ui24R are rack mixers controlled from any browser over their own Wi-Fi access point, with nothing to install on the client. Ui24R adds 22-track recording to USB. Updates are applied through the same browser interface used to mix.

How Soundcraft ships firmware

Ui-series updates are applied through the browser interface itself, while Vi and Si consoles are updated from USB media. Soundcraft rotates older downloads off its support pages fairly quickly, which makes an independent mirror genuinely useful for anyone maintaining an older desk.
